HFL Grants Cycle 1 now open - applications available until February 21, 2020
Updated: Feb 21, 2023
The Healthcare Foundation of La Porte (HFL) is dedicated to empowering our residents to live healthy and well in and around La Porte, with the goal of becoming one of Indiana’s top 10 healthiest communities by 2030. Collaborating with community organizations to reach this goal, HFL has grant applications for health and wellness projects available until February 21, 2020.
Cycle 1 Strategic Grants are grants that address specific board-approved major community needs with a defined impact on health and wellness. The three Strategic Grant Areas are Healthy Children, Healthy Living, and Healthy Minds. Responsive Grants meet the community’s health and wellness needs that fall outside of the three Strategic Grant Areas and demonstrate a connection to HFL’s mission and vision. Responsive Grant requests may be up to $25,000.
Grant Cycle 2 will also be available later this year, giving applicants the option to submit applications during the cycle most convenient for them. Organizations within La Porte County should consider applying if their programs and services impact the health and wellness of local residents.
