2026 Healthy Community Fund: Mini, Small, and Medium grants

Please note: All LOI’s and grant applications must be submitted through HFL’s online grant portal.

Mini Grants: Up to $5,000

• Align with HFL mission: La Porte County residents are healthy and well.
• Accepted February 1 – October 31 on a rolling basis
• Decision in 2 weeks

Small Grants: $5,001 – $25,000

• Align with HFL mission: La Porte County residents are healthy and well.
• Accepted February 1 – October 31 on a rolling basis
• Decisions made quarterly

LOI DEADLINE PASSED Medium Grants: $25,001 – $100,000

• January 9 – Grant portal opens; Letter of Inquiry (LOI) first required step
• January 31 – LOI due
• February 7 – Applicants notified of LOI decision
• March 20 – Full application due
• June 12 – Applicants notified of decision
• July 1 – Grant term begins on or after this date
