Who We Are

HFL

Health Foundation of La Porte (HFL) is a private foundation created from the assets of the sale of the IU Health La Porte Hospital in 2016. HFL’s new strategic plan will concentrate the foundation’s community investments (grants) in three areas across La Porte County: Attainable Housing; Healthy Eating Active Living; and Mental Health and Substance Use. As HFL works with partners to invest in these three focus areas, we will also engage in collaboration, convening, strategizing, and advocacy for community improvement and systems change.
